In October 2007 UK Webhosting Ltd moved the majority of its hosting infrastructure to a brand new private datacentre suite just outside London. From this location we enjoy 10 Gigabits per second connectivity back to London Docklands. It is also situated just minutes from our offices so that, in the event of any problems, technical staff can be on-site almost immediately. This is in stark contrast to many of our competitors who might be based hundreds of miles from their infrastructure and often in another country! This real, physical presence combined with our extensive infrastructure enables us to offer a 99.9% uptime guarantee on all of our services.
By August 2011 UK Webhosting Ltd had expanded its datacentre presence to a number of other datacentres throughout the UK. We are currently expanding this offering to datacentres around the world.
Unlike many of our competitors we have chosen not to join the bandwagon of "unlimited" or near-unlimited hosting. We believe in absolute transparency and will only offer services which we can fulfill rather than offering ridiculous allocations of diskspace and terminating the service of anyone who actually uses it! Your hosting will never be suspended for any spurious reason such as exceeding an arbitrary CPU quota or for any use of the service not specifically prohibited by UK law or our standard terms and conditions.
